Hey Everyone!!

So my bad. I didn't send a blog post last week cause I procrastinated and ran out of time haha, lame excuse but what do you do?! haha. Well I'm still here in Durrës.  Elder Richards and I are having a good time, working really hard and I feel very blessed to be working here in Durrës!

I don't really have a lot to tell you. We are working with an investigator named Leonard. He is awesome! He has a real desire to learn about the Gospel and I know he feels the spirit during our
lessons! He lived in Greece and one of his friends was a member, well is a member haha. It was a really cool experience finding him because it made me think of my friends who can tell the missionaries "I had a Mormon friend" and that might be what makes them talk to the missionaries. This Gospel is for everyone and I am so thankful for the opportunity to help people here find this wonderful true and restored Gospel!

We also had an activity, well we didn't, but the Stake had an activity for members preparing to go on a mission. We went on splits with them to show them a little bit of what missionary work is like! It was an awesome experience and I think it changed a lot of lives! Listening to the testimonies I think it helped them prepare to go on a mission some day!

I'm so excited for the future of the Church here in Albania. Having lived all over the world I know that the Church is true and that it is the same Church in every place. It is unwavering and undeniably true. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and that through Him we can be cleansed!

I love you all!

Have a good week :)

April 6, 2015

Hey!

I know a lot of you are probably wondering how the new area and companion is, so I guess I'll just get right to it. Well Durres is awesome!! It is a great city and it is pretty beautiful! The members are awesome so far!! I have had nothing but warm welcomes since I have got here. And I've only been here for a week and I've already been fed many times. I've had a lot of food! haha. It is great here, and the church building is beautiful!! I'll take pictures this week so that you can see it next week!

My companions are awesome as well! Elder Richards is an older missionary (as far as being a missionary, he's not actually old) He only had 3 months left! But he is awesome and we get along really well! And Elder Gosturani is awesome as well! He is so funny, but he is leaving this week for Birmingham which is where he will serve the rest of his mission (23 months) We will be sad to lose him, but excited for him and for the people in his mission! They are gaining a great missionary!!

Well this week has been Easter week and we have talked to a lot of people about our Savior and His Atonement. It has been an awesome week and we were able to share our testimonies with a lot of people and hear many testimonies from others. It has definitely been a week where I have felt the love of our Savior! The Atonement is the most powerful and amazing gift that our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ have given us! It is something that we can use every day. We all have weaknesses. We all make mistakes, but the most beautiful thing about this life and the mistakes we make is that they are erasable, through the Atonement of Christ. He suffered more than we can understand so that we can be forgiven. I hope that all of you know how merciful He is. That you are never alone and there is always another chance waiting for you to grasp it.

I love you all and so does Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I hope that you can feel His Spirit this week and that you can use the Atonement and feel His love.
