Hey Everyone!

So sorry, but I 100% procrastinated this email/blogpost hahahah my bad. But this week was better! :) We had more success reaching our goals and were able to find a new investigator who is very prepared by the Lord! :) We are really excited to be teaching him!!

My companion, Elder Rigby, went back to Macedonia today! We were sad to see him go! It was a good month!! but he's gotta get back to Macedonia to help the missionary work over there! I learned a lot while I was with him and he is an awesome missionary!!

My new companion is Elder Outsen! He is awesome! We were in the same MTC District so I know him pretty well and we are already friends! I am super excited to serve with him! He is really funny, and you learn something from every companion so I'm excited to work with him and help the work move along in Durrës!!

I really felt the love of the Lord this week!! He really does love us! And if you want proof read 1 Nephi 11:17 and pray about it! God loves us and he won't let us fail, if we rely on Him. He wants us to succeed, but we have to work for it and do our part!!

I Hope that you all had an awesome week and were able to see the hand of the Lord in your lives. Look for it this week! It'll be there, I promise! As part of our daily planning session in our mission we talk about how we saw the hand of the Lord in the work that day, and it has really helped me to realize how much He actually is involved in our lives and this work!!

I love you all and miss you! Have an awesome week!!

Hey Everyone!

So this week was pretty good! I picked up my new companion from Tirana on Tuesday. His name is Elder Rigby, he's a great guy and a good, hard working missionary so I am excited to serve with him! He is called to Macedonia, which is still part of my mission, so he doesn't speak any Albanian. It hasn't big too big of an obstacle because a lot of the people we meet with speak enough English, but other than that I translate, which hasn't been as bad as I thought it would. So far we are getting along and are excited about the work this transfer!

So the biggest lesson I learned this week, or I guess just the main thing I wanted to share with you guys was a scripture we read for a spiritual thought this last week. That scripture is found in the first book of Nephi in the Book of Mormon, chapter 11, verse 17 which reads "And I said unto him: I know that he loveth his children; nevertheless, I do not know the meaning of all things." When I first read this scripture I didn't really know what to say, or how to expound on it, but as I thought about it I understood it better. We don't know everything, in fact there is probably a LOT that we don't know. However we have received many things from our Heavenly Father enough that if we act according to faith and follow Him, He has promised us more blessings than we can count! And even though we may not know everything we can always come back to the knowledge that He loves us. Everything that He has done for us and does for us is for our good and so that we can grow! I testify that He loves us, and that we are His children. If we are ever lacking in faith we can know that He loves us, and we can move forward.

Well that's all the time I have for today. I hope that you all have an awesome and incredible week! I love you and miss you!
