November 23, 2015

Hey!

This week was good! It was a pretty average week, but it was still good! We have several people that we meet with regularly but they have been pretty unreliable for meetings this week! It has kind of been frustrating but it's all good!

Well it's Thanksgiving on Thursday! I guess in honor of that I will share some things that I am thankful for! I am so thankful for a Heavenly Father who loves us more than we can comprehend! I am thankful for His Son and our Savior, Jesus Christ. He has performed an atonement, or sacrifice, so that we can be forgiven of our sins and be able to return to live with Him! He loves us so much that He endured more pain than is humanly possible to endure! He voluntarily gave His life for us and it is through Him and only through Him that we can be saved! I'm thankful for the Spirit that we can feel, and for the comfort that comes from the Spirit! My testimony has grown so much on my mission because of the Spirit! God loves us so much! I'm so thankful to be a member of His true church and for all the blessings he has given me throughout my life! I'm so thankful for my mission and that opportunity I have had to serve the Albanian people, and to learn their beautiful language so that I could teach them about the amazing message of God's plan of salvation!

I know that we are all children of a Heavenly Father and that if we follow His plan that we can find true happiness and peace! He restored His church to the earth through the prophet Joseph Smith, and still leads Jesus Christ leads His church through a living prophet today, President Thomas S. Monson! I'm so thankful for the guidance we receive! I hope that you will all feel the love of God in your lives and that you will see His blessings in your lives! I know that they are there!

I love you all and hope you are doing amazing!

November 16, 2015 - Tirana

Hey Everyone!

Sorry it's been a while! Last P day was pretty crazy! We went to Macedonia because it's part of our mission! And so we were really pressed for time last week so I wasn't able to write a blogpost! But I got transferred last week to Tirana! I was pretty bummed to leave Kosovo but I like Tirana and my new companion, Elder Wally, is awesome! It is a pretty busy area so it should be a busy last few weeks!

This week felt super long and blurred together because it was a transfer week haha so my thoughts are a little scattered and I don't know what to write about! I just know that this is the Lord's work! I have been able to see people that I saw 9 months ago and to see how much they have grown until now! I have a firm testimony that if we stay close to our Heavenly Father that He will help us become stronger and will help us move forward towards Him. He loves us and we must trust Him. As Nephi did in 1 Nephi 4:6 He went forward following the Spirit not knowing the things that he was going to do! And another great scripture from Nephi is in chapter 11 of 1 Nephi and he says that he knows that God loves His Children, but he didn't understand the meaning of all things. I know that Nephi's words are true. God loves us, and though we may not understand the meaning of all things, if we follow the Spirit of God, we will be doing His will and it will all be for our good!

I don't exactly know why I was transferred here to Tirana 2nd ward, but I do know that God sent me here and this is where I am supposed to be! This should be a good last 6 weeks! I am sad that it is ending so soon, but I'm excited to work hard for the next 6 weeks!

Also I got to eat Burger King in Macedonia last week, and it was glorious! and I don't even like Burger King that much haha.

I love you all and I know that God loves you, if you follow Him there is no way you will be led astray! He want us to return to Him and He has given us the way!
